In this sense, the argument for centralised kitchens has become a conduit for neglecting the infrastructural maintenance and expansion of the school itself and for disinvesting in rather than strengthening a skeletal school nutrition programme. It has also become a way of subsidising the work of corporate set-up and funded NGOs and expanding the market base of some of the food processing and real estate corporate giants. CORPORATE PENETRATION In this context, it is important to note that the promotion of centralised kitchens and contracts to big private players has become the cornerstone of the implementation of supplementary nutrition and mid-day meal schemes. In official parlance, it has taken the form of public-private partnerships. One  of the main feature of this corporatisation is that all big corporate NGOs have industrial partners who provide them part funding and meet their infrastructural costs as a part of their corporate social responsibility. A good example of this is Vedanta in Odisha that has tied up with the Naandi Foundation (whose chairman is Ananda Mahindra) to provide mid-day meals to children in Lanjigarh, an area where they are plundering mineral resources and are locked in a conflict with local tribal organisations. While the government of Odisha pays the cost of the noon meal, Vedanta sets up the high tech centralised kitchens. But this partnership is not limited to Odisha and extends to other mineral rich states where Vedanta has stakes namely Rajasthan and Korba district of Chhattisgarh. Hence social welfare is becoming a method of not only getting financial benefits but also gaining legitimacy for the penury that is caused by the main activities of such companies. Another interesting and telling example is that the influx of big private capital into nutritional schemes has also created monopolistic trends in the production of take home rations and mid-day meals. As the Seventh Report of the Supreme Court appointed Commissioners (November 2012) showed, four companies were supplying take home rations to more than four states. The Akshay Patra and Iskcon Food Relief Fund run the world’s largest network of centralised kitchen’s in more than 10 states of the country. The Naandi and Ekta Shakti Foundation operate and control largescale supplies of cooked mid-day meals in at least four states and propose to be expanding to others. In this way, the NGOs are attempting to assist food processing and micronutrient companies to secure the potential food market. Its adverse impact on worker’s rights, employment security of scheme workers and school infrastructure has begun to show in different states. MID-DAY MEAL WORKERS The neglect and devaluation of the work of the mid-day meal scheme worker has got accentuated through the public-private partnership model analysed above. The scheme provides Rs 1000 monthly honorarium for a cook cum helper in every school. The cook cum helper is not only meant to ensure that hot hygienic and balanced diet is prepared for children. The government argues  that this work is a supplementary work and does not require more than 2-3 hours a day. In this sense providing nutritious and good food and maintaining hygienic conditions in the school kitchen is not considered either a skilled or a full time job by the government. Therefore the cooks and helpers are not recognised as ‘workers’ and have no rights. As A R Sindhu, the convenor of the All India Coordination Committee of Mid-day Meal Workers explains, most women do not get their whole wages and are paid Rs 100-600 per month. Even this payment is intermittent and in almost all states, the workers have not got their salaries for 7-8 months at a time. Only in Tamilnadu was the payment regular. But this has  hardly been implemented by any state and rather, has been flouted by most states as shown in the Supreme Court appointed Commissioners Seventh Report of November 2012. That the Court was intuitively correct in its direction has been shown by the experience of states like Kerala where the panchayat implements the programme and the parent teacher bodies monitor the quality of the food. The coverage of the programme is close to 95 percent. In many schools it has been demonstrated how localised kitchens run by women’s groups are effective in running schemes like the mid-day meal programme and the ICDS programme. In each of these cases, the success of the scheme has depended on the training and empowerment of the worker who are mostly women. These models give the way forward and show that decentralised models can only succeed if there is a political will and system to delegate power and responsibility to school level parent monitored committees, neighbourhood level committees and local self governments. This should be accompanied by social audits and regular monitoring involving women’s groups, trade unions and other democratic groups. These examples demonstrate that ignoring the mid-day meal worker will only lead to the further corporatisation and decimation of the school nutrition programme. Hence the struggle for the scheme workers rights is linked with and central to the need to press for publicly supported decentralised alternatives in implementation of nutrition schemes. These two facets of struggle need to be intensified and combined in order to fight corporatisation of publicly funded nutrition programmes.

We needed to have the owner’s idea about the old system and the expectation of the new system. By knowing a clear idea of the future system, we started to design an online food ordering system that fulfilled the restaurant requirement and expectations. Developing a new system has its own cost and we, as designer should have deal with it. The desire system and design must be cost-effective to the owner and also to us to design, operate and perform the system. Also the maintenance cost should be noticed in the designing stage. For our database we use MySQL. System Support Maintenance System support maintenance is the modification of the system. As our system goes on we need to enhance our system with new features, capability and functions in response to new technology. Adaptive maintenance in our system is related to update new features. Perfective maintenance involves changing an operational system to make it more efficient, reliable or maintainable. Perfective maintenance can improve maintainability and performance. It involves computer programmers who work to improve the way software program functions or how quickly it processes requests. For example to change our menu layouts, command interfaces for some functions or changing the number of daily orders. The other maintenance type which is useful for our system is preventative maintenance. In this kind of maintenance we try to predict and avoid probable problems before occurring . For example, to ensure that our system is scalable to have more customers in the future, we must check if our system is able to handle high data loading and other stressful operations without problem or we need to limit the number of daily orders to avoid problems. While it may be true that psychologically troubled individuals planned out and executed both events, later investigations pointed out one hauntingly similar coincidence. The fluttering thumpa-thumpa-thumpa faded away with distance. â€Å"Move your hands, Jacob.† I looked up from Bella's white eyes, still pumping her heart for her. Edward had a syringe in his hand – all silver, like it was made from steel. â€Å"What's that?† His stone hand knocked mine out of the way. There was a tiny crunch as his blow broke my little finger. In the same second, he shoved the needle straight into her heart. â€Å"My venom,† he answered as he pushed the plunger down. I heard the jolt in her heart, like he'd shocked her with paddles. â€Å"Keep it moving,† he ordered. His voice was ice, was dead. Fierce and unthinking. Like he was a machine. I ignored the healing ache in my finger and started pumping her heart again. It was harder, as if her blood was congealing there – thicker and slower. While I pushed the now-viscous blood through her arteries, I watched what he was doing. It was like he was kissing her, brushing his lips at her throat, at her wrists, into the crease at the inside of her arm. But I could hear the lush tearing of her skin as his teeth bit through, again and again, forcing venom into her system at as many points as possible. I saw his pale tongue sweep along the bleeding gashes, but before this could make me either sick or angry, I realized what he was doing. Where his tongue washed the venom over her skin, it sealed shut. Holding the poison and the blood inside her body. I blew more air into her mouth, but there was nothing there. Just the lifeless rise of her chest in response. I kept pumping her heart, counting, while he worked manically over her, trying to put her back together. This broken, bled-out, mangled corpse. We couldn't put Bella together again. I knew it was too late. I knew she was dead. I knew it for sure because the pull was gone. I didn't feel any reason to be here beside her. She wasn't here anymore. So this body had no more draw for me. The senseless need to be near her had vanished. Or maybe moved was the better word. It seemed like I felt the pull from the opposite direction now. From down the stairs, out the door. The longing to get away from here and never, ever come back. â€Å"Go, then,† he snapped, and he hit my hands out of the way again, taking my place this time. Three fingers broken, it felt like. I straightened them numbly, not minding the throb of pain. He pushed her dead heart faster than I had. â€Å"She's not dead,† he growled. â€Å"She's going to be fine.† I wasn't sure he was talking to me anymore. Turning away, leaving him with his dead, I walked slowly to the door. So slowly. I couldn't make my feet move faster. This was it, then. The ocean of pain. The other shore so far away across the boiling water that I couldn't imagine it, much less see it. I felt empty again, now that I'd lost my purpose. Saving Bella had been my fight for so long now. And she wouldn't be saved. She'd willingly sacrificed herself to be torn apart by that monster's young, and so the fight was lost. It was all over. I shuddered at the sound coming from behind me as I plodded down the stairs – the sound of a dead heart being forced to thud. I wanted to somehow pour bleach inside my head and let it fry my brain. To burn away the images left from Bella's final minutes. My strength came back to me as I listened to the sound of the little executioner feeding. Strength and hate and heat – red heat washing through my head, burning but erasing nothing. The images in my head were fuel, building up the inferno but refusing to be consumed. I felt the tremors rock me from head to toe, and I did not try to stop them. Rosalie was totally absorbed in the creature, paying no attention to me at all. She wouldn't be quick enough to stop me, distracted as she was. Sam had been right. The thing was an aberration – its existence went against nature. A black, soulless demon. Something that had no right to be. Something that had to be destroyed. It seemed like the pull had not been leading to the door after all. I could feel it now, encouraging me, tugging me forward. Pushing me to finish this, to cleanse the world of this abomination. Rosalie would try to kill me when the creature was dead, and I would fight back. I wasn't sure if I would have time to finish her before the others came to help. Maybe, maybe not. I didn't much care either way. I didn't care if the wolves, either set, avenged me or called the Cullens' justice fair. None of that mattered. All I cared about was my own justice. My revenge. The thing that had killed Bella would not live another minute longer. If Bella'd survived, she would have hated me for this. She would have wanted to kill me personally. But I didn't care. She didn't care what she had done to me – letting herself be slaughtered like an animal. Why should I take her feelings into account? And then there was Edward. He must be too busy now – too far gone in his insane denial, trying to reanimate a corpse – to listen to my plans. So I wouldn't get the chance to keep my promise to him, unless – and it was not a wager I'd put money on – I managed to win the fight against Rosalie, Jasper, and Alice, three on one. But even if I did win, I didn't think I had it in me to kill Edward. Because I didn't have enough compassion for that. Why should I let him get away from what he'd done? Wouldn't it be more fair – more satisfying – to let him live with nothing, nothing at all? It made me almost smile, as filled with hate as I was, to imagine it. No Bella. No killer spawn. I could hear that in the tiny, thrumming beat of its heart. Its heart was beating. Hers wasn't. Only a second had passed as I made these easy decisions. The trembling was getting tighter and faster. I coiled myself, preparing to spring at the blond vampire and rip the murderous thing from her arms with my teeth. Rosalie cooed at the creature again, setting the empty metal bottle-thing aside and lifting the creature into the air to nuzzle her face against its cheek. Perfect. The new position was perfect for my strike. I leaned forward and felt the heat begin to change me while the pull toward the killer grew – it was stronger than I'd ever felt it before, so strong it reminded me of an Alpha's command, like it would crush me if I didn't obey. This time I wanted to obey. The murderer stared past Rosalie's shoulder at me, its gaze more focused than any newborn creature's gaze should be. Warm brown eyes, the color of milk chocolate – the exact same color that Bella's had been. My shaking jerked to a stop; heat flooded through me, stronger than before, but it was a new kind of heat – not a burning. It was a glowing. Everything inside me came undone as I stared at the tiny porcelain face of the half-vampire, half-human baby. All the lines that held me to my life were sliced apart in swift cuts, like clipping the strings to a bunch of balloons.
